* Ideally
candidate will have at least 5 years experience with hands-on RPG (AS/400)
coding, and be familiar with SOA integration concepts, enterprise service
bus/BPM
* Ability
to write detailed interface specifications for field mappings, cross reference
lookups, etc. (ESB-related logic)
* Strong
analytical skills, including thorough understanding of functional requirements
and translating them into interface specifications
* Excellent
verbal and written (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) communication skills and ability to
interact professionally with diverse group
* Working
knowledge of SQL
* Strong
knowledge of Java (JDK 6+) and Software AG webMethods platform
*
Experience with integration with SAP (4.6c), especially in Finance and HR
domains
PLUS:
* Ability
to speak French desirable
* Local
bay area candidates will have priority over remote candidates; work will be
on-site at Sephora downtown San Fransisco
* Retail
experience (knowledge of POS systems, supply chain, e-commerce, etc.)
DAY TO DAY:
* Elicit
requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, use
case/scenarios to develop interface specifications, business process
descriptions, and workflow analysis documentation
*
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile
conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low
level information to general understanding
* Collaborate
with integration architects, development team, and subject matter experts to
establish technical design and analyze tradeoffs between functionality and
performance needs
*
Potential development may be necessary in both RPG as well as in
webMethods/Java
* Develop
high level test plans per interface to drive automated testing (to be developed
by a test engineering team)
* Assist
in analysis of production issues in a support capacity when escalated to level
3 support.
